New hub for therapy supervision launched
The East Midlands Alliance has developed a Therapy Supervision hub to match therapy professionals in need of supervision with potential supervisors.
Access to therapy supervisors is a common challenge across the East Midland Alliance, and so the new programme enables supervision at a distance between Alliance providers and for others to sign up to provide supervision into the Alliance.
St Andrew’s Healthcare has taken the lead on behalf of the Alliance in developing booking software, recruiting supervisors and undertaking an audit of needs in each Alliance provider.
The next stage is for the Alliance to fill remaining gaps in therapy supervision by providing training to develop new supervisors.
